Why India?

  • Millions of people in India are unreached by the Gospel—they’re not just lost; they have no idea who Jesus is. India has more unreached people groups than any other country in the world.

  • Christians in India are few and far between, but those who do follow Jesus are at great risk. In fact, Open Doors ranks India as the 11th most dangerous country for believers (2023). Our brothers and sisters need support!

  • 1 in 4 adults in India is considered illiterate. It’s not just lessons on reading and writing that they’ve missed—without an education, these adults have never learned the importance of maintaining good hygiene, saving money, or feeding their children nutritious food.

  • 130 million people in India live on less than $1.25 of income per day. In desperation, families miss meals and even pull their children out of school to send them to work.

The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few
